I managed to catch an act called Albury Road while I was in Nashville... they played an acoustic set at the Commodore Grill and they were great. I finally got to Nashville in August (2018), I've been wanting to get there for many years to have a look at the music scene. I certainly wasn't disappointed with what I saw... there are bands playing in nearly every hotel in the town centre and there's also a lot of venues that promote and host original singer/songwriters.
